Our first Sunday Session of 2023 and what a great start

Join us on Sunday 26th February to explore three of our favourite South African wineries Rudera, Simonsig and Meerendal.

Chenin Blanc, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon will form the backbone of this incredible lunch with perfectly paired dishes, some with a braai/ bbq influence alongside each of the six wines.

Alongside the usual Fourth and Church suspects, the host for the afternoon will be our great friend Frederik van Niekerk, Fred has worked in the wine business for many years fulfilling various wine-related positions, before stepping over to the dark side of wine importing. First for a specialist Burgundy importer, prior to starting his own niche South African Wine importing business.

Super passionate about his motherland, Fred seeks to find artisan and boutique wineries that really shows South Africa’s amazing diversity, quality and enormous value for money.

The wines that we will be enjoying fit these criteria exactly.

Our Sunday Sessions are a relaxed leisurely affair, we will start at 1 pm and draw to a close around 4 pm.

Please note the menu has been carefully paired with the wines and we cannot substitute dishes or cater for allergies
